Aim. Master on "Management and promotion of quality of life in EU" is based on the request of actual and future didactic and scientific formation, coming from the possibility of activity connected to analysis, chemistry checks, economy and the EU policy, at international level, including also the hazardous point of production, of the possible danger from goods and in general to safety.
The master trend and the "curricula" organization is managed mainly by the didactic and scientific competencies in chemical, economic and of EU policy present in the "South-East dialogue European Integration Consortium "I Mediterranei" connected with specific contributes in the international sphere both from academic and public and private operators.
The person acquiring the Master "Management and promotion of quality of life in EU" will be able to operate in the range of EU economy and EU policy to manage and to solve the environment (air, water, soil) and food (commercial and nutritional value) problems. This Master is a high formation course for laureates and operators in the sector of chemistry, economy and the EU policy.

Programme. The annual didactic is divided in two semesters.
In the first semester, the basis teaching and the item necessary for an integral and interdisciplinary vision of the quality check in the alimentary, nutritional, environmental, social, territorial, management, normative and hygienic sanitary sphere, in relation with analyses will be performed. Furthermore, history and EU institutions, culture role, markets, cooperation policy and even elements of informatics and English language will be introduced.
In the second semester, subjects suitable to develop specific profiles of professional ranges will be treated, by taking into account their constant evolution. Optional teachings also foreseen can be selected in agreement with the Didactic and Scientific Council (DSC).
The methodology adopted is similar to that proposed in the Tuning project and in its application. In accordance, the DSC agreed upon the proposal to adopt ECTS accreditation criteria.
The following subjects are foreseen in the first semester: Chemistry, Quality and environment, Food Chemistry, Safety and certification, Chemo metrics, Informatics, English for special purposes, The culture in the European integration, Politic economy and monetary union, Single market and public contracts, Co-operation in EU Programs, History and Institutions of the EU, Consumer protection.
In the second semester, next to Compulsory teachings: Political economy and monetary union, Financial sciences, Quality control on food and environment, Forensic activity, E.U. Budget, Structural funds, students must select 7 ECTS among a proposed list in agreement with DSC.

Admission. The activation of the Master will start by the emission of a ban where the modality of admission will be established. Operators in the field of quality checks, having whatever a degree corresponding to five or four years of university legal duration, obtained in an EU country and also people having an Italian magisterial title or the corresponding of EU can be admitted. The kind of title will be fixed in the ban. In the first academic year the maximum number of candidates admitted is 40 (forty units). In the following years, the DSC will establish the number of the seats.

Duration and Fee. One academic year. For the first year an inscription fee of 3950 (three thousand nine hundred fifty) euro is established. The minimum number for the Master activation is 10 (ten) participants. In case of scholarships, the DSC will deliberate number, amount and quantity of eventual discount of the inscription fees.
