The Degree in "European Integration: Tourism, Environment and Quality
of life" answers to the need of formation of people of new high professionalism,
able to develop new policy in strategically sectors in the European Integration
process, by taking in mind that tourism can represent a tool for the occupational
increasing if it is connected to the quality of life and to the environment
respect.
The student will receive a suitable knowledge of different sectors historic
institutional, economic financial, politic legislative, connected with the quality
of life (environment, food, etc
), the EU programs and the market in the
framework of the south - east dialogue development.
The graduate will be able to fluently use, write and oral, four languages of
EU: English, French, Italian and Spanish and acquire skills and tools in the
field of communication and information.
The acquisition of the Degree (Bachelor) offers several professional facilities:
activities in enterprises national and multinational, public national, communitarian
and international organizations, central and local public administration, private
farms, professional activity in economic sectors of public, private and social
economy job, in the offices promoting territorial organisms of agencies of national
and international research, in the enterprises, in the system of social and
cultural cooperation, interested to the best use of the EU financial tools.
The Degree is a triennial course, (I year: historical-institutional, II year:
Political/legislative; III year: Practical-research project and final dissertation)
corresponding to 180 ECTS. At end, the Link University in agreement with the
Consortium SEDEIC in European integration "I Mediterranei" (Consortium)
confers the I level Degree (Bachelor) in "European Integration: Tourism,
Environment and Quality of life".
The following areas will be covered: general management of public and private
funds, financial management of community funds, tourism, environment, quality
of life.
For the development of teaching, the curricula organization, the Degree uses
prevalently of the didactic and scientific skills of the "South - East
Dialogue European Integration Consortium 'I Mediterranei'" (involving 84
Universities and 30 European Countries) and of specific contributes coming both
from academic world and from public and private operators in an international
field.
Admission and fee
The activation of the degree will start by the emission of a ban where the
modality of admission will be established. Students interested to the field
of quality checks, having whatever a diploma of secondary school, obtained in
a EU country can be admitted. In the first academic year the maximum number
of candidates admitted is 40 (forty units). In the following years, the DSC
will establish the number of the seats.
The fee is 4000,00 euro for each year. Three instalments are foreseen for each
year. The fee covers the participation to all didactic activity, including experimental
laboratories and the use of administrative services. However, other costs involving
sojourn and participation to stages and didactic material. It is possible that
scholarships can be delivered, as a support for participation fees.
